Terms of Use

DF Garage ("the app") is operated by Driving Forever Limited ("we", "us"), a New Zealand company (renamed from Stearne Limited in April 2026). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

Your data

You own your vehicle data. We store it on your behalf and don't claim any rights to it. When you publish a vehicle card, you're choosing to make that information publicly accessible. You can unpublish at any time.

Acceptable use

When using DF Garage, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, or hateful.
• Use the messaging system to spam, harass, or scam other users.
• Publish misleading information about vehicles, particularly in for-sale listings.
• Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the app's operation.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

For-sale listings

DF Garage provides a platform for users to list vehicles for sale. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, the condition of vehicles, or the identity of buyers or sellers. Any transaction you enter into is entirely at your own risk.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that data won't be lost. Keep your own backups of important records.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Driving Forever Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes but is not limited to: losses from vehicle transactions between users, reliance on vehicle data or valuations displayed in the app, or service interruptions.

Content you publish

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, vehicle descriptions, messages). By publishing content through the app, you grant us a licence to display that content as part of the service (for example, showing your vehicle card to anyone who visits its link).

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. This removes your account and all associated cloud data (published cards, messages). Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
